Abstract:
Is there a difference between ethics for children and ethics for adults? Unless we advocate a relativistic ethics in which case what is good and right would be relative to the age of the acting subjects we are prone to think not: what is good is good and what is right is right no matter how old you are. So it appears that the ethics we teach adults should be the same ethics we teach children. However, there are two problems. First, what ethics do we teach adults? Second, how much ethical receptivity do children possess?
